Beyond Network Solutions selected Q-SYS control and DSP as the flexible backbone of the new system, with touchscreens giving staff simple day-to-day control. Cisco switching and Dante provide stable, low latency audio networking and distribution. Shure SLX-D wireless microphone systems and RF Venue antenna distribution were chosen to extend reliable mic coverage across the whole facility.

Fulcrum Acoustic CCX 12 coaxial subcardioid 12” loudspeakers and a Sub115 vented 15” subwoofer were installed for sound reinforcement in The Paddock – a recent addition to the Centennial Homestead campus. An APEX CloudPower CP1504D amplifier drives all loudspeakers in The Paddock. CP1504D delivers 4 x 1500W and features integral 4×4 Dante networking and full DSP. All CloudPower amplifiers can be monitored and controlled remotely from a web browser using the IntelliCloud WebUI.

Eight compact Fulcrum Acoustic RX5 5.25” coaxial loudspeakers supply the necessary power with minimal visual impact in the picturesque Wisteria Room, driven by a 4 x 350W APEX CloudPower CP354D.

The Centennial Homestead project was Beyond Network Solutions’ first experience of working with APEX amplifiers. The CloudPower range was recommended by Simon Stavenuiter from APEX’s Australia distributor, Simon Stavenuiter Audio Production. 

“The installation and programming of the APEX amplifiers was simple and straightforward,” commented Beyond Network Solutions’ Director, George Kostopoulos. “We loved that we could lock out the front panel from users and remotely manage the devices. The amplifier is sleek and isn’t deep, allowing for installation in short depth racks where space isn’t always available for us in retrofit circumstances.”

The revamped audio system is now in daily use, providing outstanding audio coverage and intuitive control spanning the full Centennial Homestead site.
